EMMA NUSHI

This is my first year at CHMS and I’m so thrilled to be here! I grew up in SLO, and I went to the Montessori school there all the way up until 6th grade when my family moved to the Bay Area. Not only was I a Montessori child, but I was also raised by a Montessori teacher. My mom taught at Montessori Children’s School in SLO for 17 years, and I truly came to view the school as a sort of second home. I loved every single second of my time there, and stepping back into a Montessori classroom now feels like one of the most natural places in the world for me to be. I can already tell that CHMS is the same kind of warm and welcoming environment as the Montessori school where I grew up, and I’m so honored and beyond excited to be part of such a great community.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time on the soccer field. When I’m not playing, I also love hiking with my dog or doing anything fun outdoors, as well as reading, writing, and making music.
